13 miners trapped in West Virginia mine, officials say

TALLMANSVILLE, West Virginia (AP) -- An underground explosion at an Upshur County coal mine trapped 13 miners, a county emergency official said Monday.
The explosion at the Seago Mine south of Buckhannon happened about 8 a.m., said Steve Milligan, deputy director of the county's Office of Emergency Management.
Six miners made it out of the mine and refused treatment.
No trees were killed in the posting of this message.
However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
