The dude was 93 though, so I don't feel too bad.

Yep, there's another president who's probably going to snuff it before he reaches 70. . .
They call me Mr Celsius!

And it's a damn shame, too.

Jerry was a local boy to us. Went to Univ of Mich, but I guess not everyone chooses the right college in Michigan.

Much as we hated Nixon, I have to agree with his pardon. I was not a Ford fan at the time, but I think he was OK, as opposite party guys go.

I'm pissed that the media (at least here in L.A.) is giving more air time to that tax-evading, coked up, mumbling spaz James Brown than former President Ford. We have our criteria for celebrity completely backwards.

RIP President Ford! :(

I always liked him, he was good people. I remember how Chevy Chase used to do his Ford impressions, falling down all over the place. Man that was funny stuff. He always took the ribbing in stride too (pun intended)
In my hands I hold a candle whose flame is small to see, And if I give but one light to you my life is filled for me.
But...In your hands you hold a torch for many eyes to see, So hold it high that they may light their candlewicks from thee.
