There is no comparison

Is it okay to kill in the name of God? Can ethics, morals and technology peacefully co-exist?

Agreed. 100%.
I'm not a scientist, but I play one on the internet.

Might be he basis it on your most illustrious examples that you have supplied so far on the subject.

If he looked at both Science and Religion side by side and made a judgement, he compared them. Given that he compared them, his above statement is blantly false.

comparison
1 : the act or process of comparing : as a : the representing of one thing or person as similar to or like another b : an examination of two or more items to establish similarities and dissimilarities

Now that I'm thinking of it, the whole term "there is no comparison" is bogus. Who can one decide if things can or can not be compared without checking them for simularities?

A proper term would be "these things can not be compared".
