Apparently, in the deep South Civil Wars soldiers managed to hunt and kill pesky pteratacktyls and Barney. Also, there is a pretty good picture of a dead bigfoot on their main page. I'll find it and post a link.

Yeah. I would be interested to know the provenance of those photos, and in the unlikely event that they really are from the civil war, what those things are. Faked, either way. :evil:

Those uniforms on the civil war photo just don't look right to me. I'm a bit of a Civil War buff, but those guys look like reenactors and the photo is most likely photoshopped. Then again, they could be re-enacting the shooting of a pterasaur.

And of course the gubmint wouldn't put up a bf crossing sign if it didn't exist. Everybody knows that.
