Eurovision Song Contest, 2019 Edition

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

Eurovision Song Contest, 2019 Edition

Postby Arneb » Sat May 18, 2019 10:24 am

Football's not the only thing making our weekends grate again, the Eurovision Song Contest, held this year in the heart of Europe, Tel Aviv, has kept us raptured for many years: 2018, 2015.

F.A.Z. sees the Netherlands as the likely winner, with strong competition from Russia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Awstrawlia (yes, that is in Europe. Don't ask), maybe Sweden, and maybe even Iceland (who do a Rammstein emulation singing how everything is meaningless and we all must die in a slaughter. Cheerful). As usual, head-shaking and facepalms for Germany, and pretty much nothing at all for the Divided Kingdom.

Heid, will you keep us posted?

I think they get a bit of a bad rap. I really like this one and find it kind of uplifting. It could have easily won this competition.

We were out and boycotting it because of Israel (and Madonna). Normal service will resume next year in Cloggistan.

The last three, of course, were Germany, UK and Belorussia. Those belorussians should be ashamed of themselves.
