BAT Files Still Work?

Postby Мастер » Tue Jul 24, 2012 7:36 am

What I want to do is, on a Windows 7 machine, have it repeatedly play a WAV file through the speakers, with an initial delay (configurable), and a delay between the repeats.

You can still just run a BAT file, right? If so, I just have to figure out the commands to put in it.

Back in the DOS ages, I could have figured out something like this. Expect my computer probably couldn't have played a WAV file then.

Yeah, they still work. Use either the BAT or CMD extension.

These commands should still work.
For a good timer you probably will have to get a 3rd party utility.

Still use batchfiles regularly often.
What I dislike about W7 is that it won't run my little antique 16-bits programs which used to perform just fine.
