Outlander

Great song? Good show? Bad movie? What should be enjoyed and what should be avoided.

That helps a lot! And that photo looks exactly like what they showed on Outlander.

Thank you.

You're more than welcome. I'm sure it's just an accident of filming location rather than the accuracy of a fairly obscure landscape detail, but still.

Yeah... We were just curious about how a landscape could look like that without being regularly attended.

I am enjoying the fields around me as I drive the country roads, and while the prairie grass will get shoulder high eventually, earlier in the season it is not. Get a month or two into a wheat field and it looks like a nice even depth lawn of a thing.

Now that grass in the mountains is a thing I am aware of, I'm also seeing it elsewhere. We're watching an episode of Expedition Unknown, a series hosted by the adventure archaeologist Josh Gates. They're in the Ecuadorian mountains looking for Incan sites and I noticed the grass is very similar. So I guess there are grasses in the mountains that just don't get very tall.

Now I know...

If you fly into Edinburgh we'll put you up for a couple of days, you can have a couple of days at our place in Crail (you'll have to google, I'm link deficient at the moment) and then I'll pass you over to our Northern Associate for the Outlander section of your tour. You can't bring the poodles though, we have cats.

If I had US0.5M, I'd buy this house or this house or maybe this house
