Now that grass in the mountains is a thing I am aware of, I'm also seeing it elsewhere. We're watching an episode of
Expedition Unknown, a series hosted by the adventure archaeologist
Josh Gates. They're in the Ecuadorian mountains looking for Incan sites and I noticed the grass is very similar. So I guess there are grasses in the mountains that just don't get very tall.
