Resolved: What happened last night?

Postby Animal » Thu Nov 10, 2005 11:50 pm

[RESOLVED]
What the hell were you doing last night? The site was inaccessible and then had CGI errors. You really must be more professional when running a public forum. As a member of your site, I demand the ability to log in and access the forums at all hours. If you can not provide this minimum level of service, then I want my money back and will refer the matter to my council.

Love and kisses,
Animal

Your suggestion that I engage in cannibalism is completely uncalled for. I merely state that you must provide your user base with a minimum level of service and you attack me. I am shocked! Shocked, I say, that you would stoop so low.

Oh, but pardon me...

My "bite me" comment was in response to your "love and kisses" remark. I meant bite in a gentle and caring fashion only. In no way did I mean to infer that you should swallow.

Animal, you do realize that Lance just happens to be the Administrator, right?

I mean, he'll probably never ban you for being an asshole, but he sure can make your experience here a lot more...interesting

Maybe if you cleaned up your server room you wouldn't have these problems.

Bull crap. He's just some little boi that thinks he's hot 'cause he figured out how to reverse-hack my IE box to change my avatar. He's pathetic. Let him ban me. I'll bust a move in his SQL queries that will spam whitehouse gov. then the fbi would get all in his raggedy ass and we'll see who's up then.

It wasn't me that hacked into your PC at home. Though I will admit to approving the idea and giving my blessing to the person who did.

I Am He wrote:Who the hell is that little guy with Lance??

That would be the person who actually changed Animal's avatar.

So far it seems like people have liked having an Animal on the loose around here. I have only been questioned about him once. But yeah, if being an asshole were against the rules, Animal would have had issues long ago.

There's no doubt that Animal goes out of his way to be abrasive and belligerent. In my opinion, that makes him an asshole. That doesn't necessarily mean that we should ban him. However, it is my opinion that it entitles us to have a little fun at his expense. So, there.

Hell, I could have made it worse. I seriously considered changing his location to "Right in front of you."

Well, if this is, as it appears to be, a widely held belief, then it would seem appropriate for Lance to bestow a special honorary rank on the deserving individual. Don't you think?

Is this for real? If someone actually did hack the court jester's pc, can I find out who it is, so I may award him/her the first ever KOS Medal of Honor (or Honour, at the recipient's discretion)?

Now if somebody wipes his hard disk, that person is getting a friggin' staute...

Don't try to deny hacking my box. I have logs showing snmp traffic from your router to my firewall. the icmp clearly shows what you did and I have connected ICANN already.

How typical of such like you. lame threats and personal abuse hurld at PAYING CUSTOMERS of the web site who merely state that they expect a certain level of performance. Such action by you clearly show why you hang out on a "skeptic" site all day rather than have a job.

I am to be treated just like all of those others that disagree with you. No debate, since such a concept is outside of your reach, and no dialog. Just insults, threats, and lame attempts at hacking my NOC.

No. Avatars are generally stored on the server and can be manipulated by the administrator very easily. No hacking required.

Animal is mocking some of the Woo Woo from GLP that think the "ebil gun'mint" is always trying to hack into their PCs at home to discover secret plots. It is not unusual to see claims like "my firewall was pinged by the DoD again today", as if anyone cares about the geek's porn collection.

What is true, however, is that it was not me who did it. We do have moderators here too.

Jesus freaking christ, there goes by goddamn fun. I was actually enjoying this. Those that couldn't figure out that it was a put on from the start have no damn buisness touching a keyboard.

Seriously, you need to look in a mirror the next time you think a WooWoo is dense.

I've gotten two anonymous messages on my site wanting to know who hacked and how it was done. I will spare the parties embarrasment by not revealing their names here, but I can say that both claimed the names of regular posters on this site.

I recieved another message suggesting that i stop posting here if I don't like it. The writer asked pointedly why I sent lance any money in the first place.

Again, people, you really need to do some self-evaluation before mocking others. The crap that I accused Lance of doing was patent gibberish. The next time you are mocking a WooWoo's theory which is based on a misconception, remember this thread.
