Linking to quotes between threads

Linking to quotes between threads

Postby KLA2 » Sun Oct 14, 2007 7:00 pm

OK. {sigh} When I want to quote a board member from another thread, and link to that quote, how do I have the quote appear top dead center when the imbedded link is followed?

I always seem to link to the top of the page the quote is on. :?

At the top left corner of each post is the little indicator that tells you if it's new or not (it's white if read, or kind of an orangish amber if new). Right click on it and select "copy link address" (or location or shortcut, depending on how your browser has it worded) and then you'll be able to paste the link to the post.

Wow, as if I would ever remember that... It is pretty much all I can do to copy and paste. Although sometimes they let me color, if I am good.
