I am happy we've got those derbies behind us. It's a bit like going to the dentist's every time.

Klinsmann sacked again, for doing what he always does. It really shouldn't have surprised his bosses.

Nor anyone. But hey, think of the income he generated from that one good shot in 2006. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Hertha and Greuther both busy tonight, both one up at the half. I mean, come on, it can't possibly stay that way?

ETA Oh, and Hertha's opposition is a man down after pulling the last-man emergency brake on a Hertha forward. That does not make me feel better...

We have to shag St Johnstone bandy tomorrow. Proper vigorous tadgering and we're two points clear.

Dundee 2 - 0 Ross County

Our count should do better next season, once we're relegated.

And verily it came to pass that the Perth Bellends were shagged properly bandy by a score of three to nil. Two late penalties that we didn't need but who am I to stand in the way of tradition?

Played 126, won 63, drawn 22, lost 41.

Meanwhile, a comment from No. 1 Daughter in the lead-up (on ITV) to the Lionesses playing Austria last night. "When are they going to stop talking and start playing football?" It was a friendly, given that both teams have been knocked out of the Olympics, but once they did start playing football, 7-2 is a result I'll take.

On a far lower level

SG Eintracht Braunschweig 1 - 1 Hertha BSC

Can't win against a team 8 places below us, but we knew that. And we have the entire top of the table in front of us...

Played 126, won 62, drawn 23, lost 41.

Ireland 31 - 7 Wales

Bonus point to Ireland (achieved one minute and forty seconds after full-time!).

Wales can no longer win the tournament.

Scotland v England in 35 minutes. Either team can survive a loss, in theory at least.

Ross County 3 - 2 Livingston

It's a win I suppose, but we were 2-0 up at half-time and needed an injury time winner.

Played 127, won 63, drawn 23, lost 41.

Scotland 30 - 21 Brexiteers

No bonus point for anyone.

In theory, anyone but Wales can still win.

But I would say that Ireland are heavily advantaged.

You have no idea how little I care. Sadly Murrayfield is too genteel for a chorus of "You can stick your fucking chariot up your arse" to the tune of "She'll be coming round the mountain". It's an old Scottish folk song.
Also, our mob won both the women's and men's Het Neiuwsblad; so four from four for the day. Get it right up ye.
Edit: the wimmin's race ended up in an old fashioned throw down with the Greatest Cyclist Ever (absolutely no qualifiers) defying age to win.

Likewise. Rugby has no real history in the Highlands and is still broadly perceived here as a game for public school Tory twats. Never played it in school, never seen a match - not even on TV. Plus, of course, I am still of the opinion that a country that's too fucking stupid to vote for its own existence shouldn't have sports teams at international level, and I just can't bring myself to support Scotland at all, at anything, against anybody.
