I didn't watch it but it is hard enough to play against Ireland with a full team. The usual mix of trepidation and blind optimism for later.

Yes, I think the red card was about thirty minutes in. And France had already had a yellow card earlier. So they want with fourteen for maybe about 60 of the 80 minutes. But Ireland was down to fourteen for ten minutes also.

Italy 17 - 14 England at the half

Will today be the first time in history that Italy defeat England? Or at least since Claudius invaded Britain?

FC St. Pauli 3 - 2 SpVgg Greuther Fürth

It's probably better that way. We simpöy shouldn't get promoted for another disaatrous Bundesliga season.

Played 112, won 56, drawn 22, lost 34

Wow. This was looking like a blowout in the first half, but Wales came to life in the second. But it was just slightly not good enough.

Wales 26 - 27 Scotland.

Two bonus points for Wales, none for Scotland.

Based on what I’ve seen this weekend, I feel like Ireland are the most likely winner of the tournament. But it is a long way to go to the finish line.

People are talking about the Scots defence in the second half changing from a rush defence to a more passive one but completely ignoring the fact that you can't use a rush defence when you're a man down. Most pundits are fucking idiots. Not actually pundits, in fact.

IrU Derby next week on the continent, so don't hold your breath for an improvement in the count.

Of course if they had kicked a couple of penalties in the first half rather than going for touch they would have won handily.

It’s a bit unusual for France to be in last place, but that’s where we are right now.

Fuck sake. I suspect Derek Adams will be out before long. He's lost the dressing room and the supporters.

Motherwell 5 - 0 Ross County

ElephantSnakeBucket weekend coming up and against my better judgement I’m going. I’m not bothered about winning but I hate losing, I have to stay sober beforehand or it might well go a bit wrong.
Edit: never mind, it's France on Saturday.

I've not heard any messages on the jungle drums yet. I'm not sure what the options might be. I think this season is already a write-off, and a new manager won't be able to bring in players or anything like that, so I think let current assistant manager Don Cowie have a crack at it and see where we are at the start of next season.
