I recall many years ago, I was in traffic in Flint, Michigan a little ways behind a semi-truck hauling new cars. As he drove through an intersection, teh traffic signal hung lower than his upper deck cars, and so the signal smashed into a car windshield and was left hanging by its internal wires. Why do I smell olive oil and fish?

We quite regularly have the roofs ripped off double decker buses when a new driver fucks up negotiating a low bridge (or goes the wrong route, as happened earlier this year), but THAT really is something. I’m guessing the driver doesn’t do much of the route planning or navigating.

So was the train driver about to retire or something?
