I recall many years ago, I was in traffic in Flint, Michigan a little ways behind a semi-truck hauling new cars. As he drove through an intersection, teh traffic signal hung lower than his upper deck cars, and so the signal smashed into a car windshield and was left hanging by its internal wires. No slowing down, I am sure he was unaware what happened. Until later. But that pales...

We quite regularly have the roofs ripped off double decker buses when a new driver fucks up negotiating a low bridge (or goes the wrong route, as happened earlier this year), but THAT really is something. I’m guessing the driver doesn’t do much of the route planning or navigating.
