They're not stereotyping Islam, they're stereotyping Radical Islamic Terrorism. It's important to make the distinction.

For me, the humour is in the extrapolation of the kind of media that would be crass enough to use the term "ISIS Beatles" in the first place.

If these are who I think they are, they were nicknamed the "Beatles" by their captives, because there were four of them (this appears to be a subset), and because of their accents.

The actual Beatles were not too happy about this.

Unless these are different people - are they?
