As I leave the building, I like to stop by the office and chat with the manager. I like her, she fights back. I was on my way to the Dollar Tree store, and I told her that every time I go there, I am tempted to buy a bunch of plastic flamingoes and stick them in our lawn.. She said "You know, we were flocked today?" Um, no, what is that? "Go look on the lawn".


And there in front of my car even were maybe a dozen of the things. Total coincidence. It seems the Girl Scouts will flock your lawn and put a sign out there, and they are hoping you will pony up a donation to get them removed. (They only leave them 2-3 days anyway)

And now today they are gone. I do not know if ransom was paid.

ya know, I seem to remember you not being all that thrilled about flamingoes decorating a yard back on your (what, 50th?) b'day when I encircled your truck w/50 of 'em (had to encircle the truck since the dirt in the drive was too packed down)

Yeah, well, these were flamingo party lights, all on wires, and I went out to go to work, and it was POURING rain, and I found my truck was covered in these things all wrapped around and tied on. I had to untie all these wires in the POURING rain, and then drive to work. Did I mention I was soaking wet? The flamingo-ness was not the point of my ire
