Don’t think much of his work made it across the pond. I recognise him (but not his name) from Coming To America and it’s sequel. RIP though.

He was a regular on the stand-up circuit. Not hard to find flipping channels at night. Then he morphed into acting and was fairly active. In the relatively recent series Baskets, he lays in drag as a woman.
