Yes, she's a real loss. A great actress but also a woman of great activist - she refused, in 1954, to remove a black dancer from her show. It cost her - the show was soon cancelled. But she made her mark. RIP indeed.

I read this elsewhere and the poster is a rabbi so I assume it is correct:
“ Someone worked out that Betty White was born on the 17th of the month of Tevet, according to the Hebrew (lunar) calendar. 17 Tevet was 12 days ago-so according to the calendar that really matters, Betty made it to 100.”
