Rest in Peace: Blazing

Postby Lance » Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:42 pm

Oh my god, I don't remember how to live in a world that doesn't have you in it.

Rest i peace, my sweet, sweet Baby Boy. You are forever in my heart, and will always be my Ticky Poo.

Guys, Cyndi and I lost one of our dogs today. We're just devastated. We left yesterday afternoon to go to a party and he was fine. We got home a few hours later and had to rush him to the ER Vet. Torsion, the stomach twists and cuts off blood supply. And in his case, the spleen was involved too.

They did emergency surgery but he wasn't able to recover.

I don't know what I'll going to do without him.

And we owe the vet $9,000.

Sorry to hear that. It can be so devastating to lose a buddy like that. I never really got over it so am still dogless.
It sounds he was not your only dog so I hope that helps you some.

Terrible news, so sorry. Pets really are family, and sometimes the best of family.

We still have his dad, and his younger (by 3 hours) brother Saddles. But Blazing was my heart. I cannot believe the level of pain I'm suffering right now. I have never known anything this bad before. Never. I can't believe he's gone.

The picture in the OP is his last, just before I pulled the blanket over him and said my last goodbye.

This is him at about 8 months old.
