I was leaving this for Tubes but
Dick Dale, pioneering surf guitarist died a couple of days ago.

Sad news. He's had a rough go for many years now. He said he would have retired long ago but had to keep playing to pay the medical bills.

Yeah, I read somewhere he needed USD 3k a month just to pay for his medications.
