/me puts on a wig and a name-tag that says "Cindy" on it.

Seriously, though, I read part of the Wikipedia entry on Cindy Sheehan and while I'm no fan of Bush, she does seem to a bit over the top...

I feel for her because she lost a child. I understand that is perhaps one of the worse things that can ever happen to a parent.

She seriously gets on my nerves with this 'crusade', though. I watch MSNBC, and her words sound of human stupidity. She has 100's of followers, but to me, in a Country with [100,000's of] non-followers, I just don't understand why the press gives her the time of day.

I could care less about a bunch of pimple faced teenaged pukes. They are fun to mess with, though.

President Bush made a statement about Cindy ~yesterday. He said that her 'crusade' is not how other families of fallen soldiers feel.

Cindy needs to be off of my favorite News channels!

Maybe Cindy and Nancy L will be abducted by the same alien UFO and taken to PX for, um... an examination.

I feel sorry for her loss, but her protests are fueling a lot of nutty Cter's claiming that she is a 911 truth supporter the same as the people with her:

I think Cindy was sincere in the beginning. It's all the media-hype and anti-war groups that have latched onto her and have blown this out of proportion.

That is what I posted on some of the threads at GLP Lance. Of course I find it funny that it's turning into a satire of sorts with all these groups hitching their wagons to this woman and stated that too. Hell they even trotted out Joan Baez to sing to the crowd at her camp. Hilarious. Anyway, I was quickly labeled an unfeeling psychopath.

I noticed their sign, "expose the 911 coverup." If what I've been hearing about this Able Danger secret military unit is true, they may not like what they hear.

Cindy Sheehan

Postby vonmazur » Fri Aug 26, 2005 6:33 pm

If she said this last year (when she met Bush and praised him), then she might have some credibility.....But it seems she is not too bright and has no idea what is really at stake, I am sorry about her loss, but why now the whacko and radical???? I suspect the usual reason......15 min of fame and usage by people with agendas....

Before anyone foams at the mouth; I did two tours in Vietnam as an Aviator before I was old enough to vote....
