Don't put a live rattlesnake in your mouth.

Evidently he never read the U.S. Army survival manual. In the section on how to prepare a snake to eat, the first thing it says is, "first kill snake." :o

I would take KOS's advice a step further.
Don't have a live rattlesnake as a pet.
