Well, it can't be Enzo, because he's posted recently!

Just kidding. I just caught a snippet of it on CNN HN. It was on mute for most of it so all I learned was pretty much what's stated in the thread title.

It made me think of you, Enzo....and my home town. I bet a lot of people I know will be buzzing about it today!

yeah, I'm OK, but now I have to find a new assistant...

Oh in recent weeks we have had a spate of murders. Guy breaks into a home or talks his way in, or whatver, then kills the defenseless old lady who lives there.

Now the usual ranting in the newspaper... Why didn't the police prevent this. How could the mayor let this happen. Whenever a low life hurts someone, it just HAS to be someone's FAULT.

The governor has been proposing to let some short time remaining, parole eligible, non-violent convicts out of our stuffed prisons. I guarantee there will be letters proclaiming "All these murders and the governor wants to flood our streets with criminals!!!???!!!"

Still, we ARE glad he is off the streets.

Throw the book at the creep!

As for the public response, one would think if they had any sense they'd realize that non-violent = not a murderer. :P
