The wife summed it up pretty well this evening. And she works with that stripe of society.
SO the Senator claims to have no knowledge of such things.
Ok, you are in the public rest room, and after idle chat with the guy next to you, he flashes his cop badge.
If you had no idea that there had been signals passing back and forth, you'd react, "what?"
If you in fact were aware of all the sorts of stuff that goes on, and you did understand signals, you'd react, "Hey, No, not me, that is not what I had in mind, you've misinterpreted my actions, etc."
Guess which reaction the senator had.

There you go Scott, we should form a band - the Restroom Senators. Our music would be representing. We could add Gary. As a Jew, he could be our liason with the industry. They run show biz after all.
We could call ourselves the COugar brothers - Enzo Cougar and Scott COugar. Then on our second album we'd change it to Enzo and Scott Mellencamp. I've senate happen.
