At least this bunch of terrorists had the guts to try and attack a military target. Although on a stateside base only the on duty security personnel would likely be armed. But no telling when a bus load of troops heading for the firing range could have come by. If they had attacked the Base Exchange or the commisary there would have been plenty of unarmed civilians to shoot.
