Keeping the skies safe once again...

Howard flew B-29s (or was it 25s?) in WWII. He had some great war stories.

*sigh*

He was Cyndi's uncle. He passed early this morning in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls - Howard A. Allen, 83, died February 1, 2007 with his wife and daughter at his side. Howard, the youngest of 11 children, was born and educated in Illinois. My belated condolences, Lance, Cyndi, and Bill Thompson. I actually played with the El Riad Big Band for a couple of years, but I'm sorry to say that I don't recall if I ever met him.
