So Silly

Is it okay to kill in the name of God? Can ethics, morals and technology peacefully co-exist?

So Silly

The company I work for sells cans of metored air freshener. The type that goes in the despensor that puffs a little out every few minutes. Well, a janitor for a local church came in a couple of days ago and bought several cans, including a couple of cans of a scent called Voodoo Berry.

He brought them back a few hours later, because the preacher told him to get them out of his church.

Yup, that's pretty silly alright.

Of course, from a marketing point of view, they probably don't try to sell Satanic Cinnamon or Wiccan Willow. Maybe Voodoo Berry wasn't the best choice of names.

Well, both of those would probably do well in certain demographics :)

There are stores that sell religious paraphernalia to various churches and other places of worship. The stores themselves aren't religious, they just sell the needed items. For example, menorahs and communion wafer platters.

I could see these scents on the shelf right next to the frankincense and mer.

I'm surprised the churches would use frankincense and myrrh, since it seems to be such a popular scent among the new agey types. :D

Keeping them from kicking our asses for talking about it like they aren't going to kick our asses for talking about it is the hard part.
