This is true. Is this an advantage? Also, as before, not all religions have concepts like Heaven and Hell.
I'm not an atheist but I find not believing in hell a huge advantage. I spent twenty years as a Christian, and I was horrified by the idea of people going to hell. In fact, that horror is what ultimately led me to the questions that caused my belief in Christianity to crumble.
The very idea of offering an eternal punishment for a temporal existence is abhorrent to me. Especially when you consider that this punishment is given for something as simple as refusing to believe hearsay.
My life has definitely improved since I quit believing in hell, and so I see that as an advantage. Granted, this is a purely anecdotal response and may not actually represent the views of anyone else. :D
