Maybe I'm skeptical, but it looks a gorilla suit stuffed into a freezer. Also, "the real Bigfoot hunter" Tom Biscardi, has almost 0 credibility in the BF research community. So that tells you about how far, I think this story is going to go.

Thanks for the heads up DS, There hasn't been much happening in the
BF world lately.

Yeah. I will await the results of the DNA tests with modest interest.

One of the two samples of DNA said to prove the existence of the Bigfoot came from a human and the other was 96 percent from an opossum, according to Curt Nelson, a scientist at the University of Minnesota who performed the DNA analysis.

Okay, so Bigfoot is a chimera. I'm down with that.

An opossum is a marsupial about the size of a house cat.

Obviously, they've never seen some of the possums I have, or else they've got some damned big housecats.

Oh, I don't know...I have a 25 lb. house cat, bigger than most of the possums I've seen. But he's cuter, in a great dane-thinks-it's-a-lap-dog kind of way. He's hefty and persistent enough to force open our bedroom door when it is latched.

Anyway, I can't recall ever seeing a possum play dead. They can be rather feisty, and hold their own against most things their size or even a little bigger. The cats on my folks' farm always gave them wide berth. But then again, out of all the cats I've ever known, only one wasn't a coward.

Ain't too many cats'll take on a possum. Dogs, though--they don't have the brains to be skeered of 'em. At least mine don't. So I find dead possums all the time, in my yard.

Possums freeze so you won't notice them. Doesn;t work out so well when they are trying to stare down a car.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

[spoiler]

To show the possums it was possible.

What. Were. They. Thinking ???

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/08/19/bigfoo ... index.html

The Bigfoot in the freezer is made of rubber, a Web posting asserted Tuesday.

The initial promoter of two hikers' claim that they found the body of Bigfoot in Georgia said he has determined that the discovery was a hoax.

The body turned out to be rubber, and the two men who claimed that they found it, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, have admitted that it was a costume, said a posting Tuesday on the Web sites of Searching for Bigfoot Inc. and Squatchdetective.

No, no, no. That would be toe jam, and we don't have any toast on which to spread it.

Wait, I just looked, and I do have some store-bought English muffins, though.

Don't we have some toast points over in another thread somewhere?

How dumb would you feel if you paid $50,000 for a halloween costume? :glp-1doh1: :glp-crying: :glp-1rof1:

How 'bout a costume filled with possum road kill? :glp-yak:

How dumb would you have to be to think if someone actually had a BF, they would only want $50,000?

If I had a bigfoot I'd shave it and make it run for congress.
