New Rule: Please Don't Hijack Threads

Postby Lance » Wed Aug 03, 2005 3:39 pm

You are welcome to talk about pretty much what ever you want, but please stop hijacking threads.

Create as many new topics as you like, but please don't post completely unrelated content in existing topics.

Thank you.

Well, let's face it. The Llamerators are about as hard as a fluffy pillow. I mean, I should really split the last couple of posts into their own threads in the appropriate fora, and throw you guys in the brig. But that's at least three or four mouse clicks, plus all the angst and back and forth with you guys - it just ain't worth it.

Besides, where would this board be today if we hadn't allowed some latitude?

Et tu, brute? Eh?

{You see there is this whole stereotype that Canadians complete every sentence with, "Eh". I know Lance gets this, but I would not want our international members to think I was dissing him. If you still do not get it, try reading Shakespeare. Julius Caesar, with proper Latin phonetics.

Crap this is too much typing for a dumb joke. But too much trouble to backspace.}

thread - hijacked
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.
