There's a scene from a movie we saw (just the scene the movie was too dumb to actually watch) where a model was in a hotel room in a small hick town and tried to use the rotary dial phone by pushing at the numbers.

We had a push button phone once. All the buttons were in a circle, just like a rotary phone.

I guess the old saying: "Even a stopped clock is right at least twice a day," will be confussing to the new generation. After all, a digital watch shows nothing when it has no power. So, a stopped clock would never be correct, but then again, it would never be wrong.
Imangine the look you'd get if you told someone to: "Watch your 6 (o'clock position).

Oh, we are just a totally obnoxious couple to be around. MY former business partner used to marvel, "I've never seen a couple whose relationship was based on getting each other's goat." IN fact I have a small plastic goat next to me here at work, that she gave me to demonstrate she could get my goat any time.

Either one of us is totally willing to be the butt of a joke. Of course she has the larger butt in this case.

I have some mantle clocks with Roman Numerals. That was not rare when I was young. There are two schools on it, some clocks render 4 as IV while others render it as IIII.

Actually I have been poking fun at the younger generation on that very point for some time. tell them to adjust something or tighten a screw "clockwise" and they have no idea what that means.

From time to time, I think of really good quotes to ask the next time it is my turn, but then I don't write them down. So when it does become my turn, they are long forgotten
